Tavolo Direttorio GT.09 – Scale 1:5

Faithful reproduction in 1:5 scale of the Grande Tavolo, still present in the original, in the meeting room of the Casa del Fascio in Como. The structure featuring double “U” frames is made of chromed nickel silver while the connecting and stiffening tubular frame is in anticorodal. A single 10 mm glass plate is superimposed on the rosewood top, all according to the canons of the transparency and lightness at the base of this architectural work. Apart being an imponent piece of furniture (width of 140 cm and length of 650 cm) the table was the dynamic focal point within the room enhancing the game of reflections of the large glass walls and the decorative works of Mario Radice.
